An unwinding unit is used for unwinding catenary wires. This unit (named Jos) is also suitable for winding the old wire. The unit has the following characteristics:
- Also suitable for tramways because the wheels can be exchanged
- Equipped with push and draw handle for linking up railroad and rail vehicles.
- Equipped with disc brakes on the axle for braking the reels
- Equipped with two powered dividable units for winding the old wire.
