Safety for the passenger comes first. We design, install and maintain safety systems like signals, level crossings, train detection systems, and interlocking systems (e.g. EBS, VP, ATB and ERTMS).
Design
Signals, switches and train detection are reliable and safe (so called 'failsafe') systems. Strukton Rail is one of the main specialists designing these systems.
Train detection systems
Strukton Rail installs and delivers complete train detection systems. We design and perform the function tests. We can therefore guarantee a maximum level for safety and reliability.
Automatic Train Stoppig Device
Strukton Rail has years of experience with the traditional Dutch safety system ATB (Automatic Train Stopping Device). We have a thorough knowledge of this system and are responsible for the installation, renewal and maintenance on most of the Dutch railway system.
ETCS/ERTMS
Strukton Rail is one of the few parties in Europe who have experience with the new European safety system ETCS/ERTMS. We have implemented ERTMS on the Amsterdam - Utrecht route and on the new freight line Betuweroute.
Knowledge
Having knowledge of both infrastructure and rolling stock, we are best suited to offer integrated sollutions. Strukton Rail has a special organisation that works on ERTMS/ETCS.
