The project, including track and catenary, engineering and cable work took Strukton Rail four years. The work was done by day, at nigh and in the weekends. The main activities were done during long periods in which the track was taken out of service for 4 to 120 hours.

Catenary system
The delivery, construction and installation of the foundation, catenary supports, framework, point and contact wires for the traction energy. Efficiency measurements enabled Strukton Rail to finish this subproject three months earlier than planned. The catenary activities covered more than 22% of the total project.

Coordination
As the main contractor, Strukton Rail had the total coordination over all other contractors in this area. The activities entailed the disciplines of railway engineering, signalling, power supply, Rail transport engineering, civil engineering and construction engineering.
